The cases are free. Play them, record them, tell people about them. There are two things we ask in return, and neither of them is money.

What you can do

Download any case and play it, alone or with other people.
Keep the files. There is no licence to expire and nothing to activate.
Share the link to this site with anyone.

Streaming and video are welcome

Record yourself solving a case, stream it live, put it on a channel that earns you money — all of that is fine and none of it needs permission. Watching someone work through the files is half the point of making them.

A link back to the site is appreciated so people can find their own copy, but it is a courtesy, not a condition.

Please don't post the answers

This is the first of the two things we ask. Please don't publish the codes, written walkthroughs, or solution guides. A case can only be solved for the first time once, and every answer posted somewhere searchable takes that away from whoever comes next.

Showing your working in a video is different from publishing a lookup table, and we are not going to police the line. Use your judgement about whether someone could stumble on your answer while still wanting to find their own.

Please don't re-host the files

This is the second. Link to the site rather than mirroring the archives elsewhere. When a case has a broken file or a puzzle that turns out not to work, it gets fixed here — and copies scattered across other sites stay broken forever.

No warranty

The cases are provided as they are. We have tested them, but we cannot promise a case is free of mistakes or that every file opens on every machine. If something is wrong, please tell us and we will fix it.

Everything else

The cases, the writing, the artwork and this site belong to Nook Crew. Anything not covered above, just ask: nook.crew.studio@gmail.com. The answer is usually yes.
